Homework will be due nearly every day. It is perfectly OK to collaborate on homework. Please do write your solutions neatly. Homework assignments are listed on the monthly schedule pages on the due dates. Problems are assigned from the text and/or special problems will also be assigned.
Homework PolicyHomework must be deposited in the P222 slot in the gray cabinetry outside SW135 by 5:00 pm on the day it is due. Homework will be graded daily on a 10 point scale and returned during class the day after it was turned in. Homework will be accepted one day late, but must be turned in to one of the AIs or Professor Dzierba if the AIs are not available before the same assignment is returned to your classmates. There will be an automatic deduction of 5 points for late homework. Homework will not be accepted more than one day late.
We will use the Postem system for recording homework, exam and lab grades. The course is P222 and the section number is 3642.
