Journal Entry - July 30
The morning dive (#24 and the final of this trip) was at our favorite site - Windsock/WannaDive. We said goodbye to our seahorse friends, had a nice, quiet dive and exited at the dock in front of our hotel. As the dive we did a thorough equipment cleanup followed by a good drying before packing our equipment bags.

At around noon we headed into town to have lunch and settle up with the WannaDive shop and buy some gifts. Before having lunch we stopped by the airport to pay the airport tax. We had lunch at the Bistro de Paris and had a nice chat with the owner, Patrice Rannou, a very warm person with a great sense of humor. We've been to Patrice's restaurant on each of our 10 visits to Bonaire. Jeff at WannaDive took care of us as we paid for our 14 days of unlimited air and use of the WannaDive facilities. After that we paid a visit to Jordy at Bonaire Diving Adventures. Jordy took us out on a seahorse-finding dive in January. We then stopped at two shops in Kralendjik to buy some gifts for the folks back home. On the way back to the hotel we followed a pickup with a very mellow dog riding in the bed and while passing the airport we also passed by a fairly large herd of roaming goats.

We had dinner at Pasa Bon Pizza, mainly to see our friend Joe. After a glass or two of wine on the balcony we went to early bed.

Coral head at the Windsock/WannaDive site that looks like a "Chair" and is referred to as such. The seahorses are located in front of the Chair which has become the bechmark (sorry) for finding these elusive critters.
