Birds of Bonaire
I did not have as much time to photograph birds as I had on previous trips, but I did finally manage to get some good photos of the Frigatebird for the first time. You can see photos of birds from our previous trip here and my new photobook on birds on the home page of this website.
We start with the Frigatebirds - these photos taken on the waterfront near the airport. These birds were closely following a small fishing boat. The bird of the upper left photo just captured a Creolefish.
Carib Grackle
Bananaquit - in a tree next to our apartment balcony
Brown Pelican - the greenish color of the underside is due to reflection off the water.
